Call her Cinderella, definitely.

Starting February 4th, Carly Rae Jepsen will take over the title role in Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella on Broadway. During her 12-week run, Jepsen will be joined by Fran Drescher, who has been cast as Cinderella’s evil stepmother, Madame.

Though she’s best known for her 2012 hit “Call Me Maybe,” Jepsen began performing in musical theater in high school, starring in productions of AnnieThe Wiz and Grease before attending the Canadian College of Performing Arts.

“It was essentially musical theater training with studies in singing, dancing and acting,” Jepsen told the New York Times of her education. “My favorite part of the school year was our trip to New York, where we met Broadway performers and toured the theaters.”
